Baby Swim

At Baby Swim, we know that the secret to a confident swimmer is turning every lesson into a game. When children are having fun, they don’t even realise they are mastering complex safety skills! This week, we’re celebrating our little “kangaroos” and “monkeys” as they reach new heights (and depths) in the pool.

Check out these three playful milestones that make our classes so dynamic:

1. The “Kangaroo” Shallow Water Recovery

In shallow water, the goal is for children to learn how to find their feet and stand up independently. We call this “Kangaroo Hops”! In Baby Swim Shallow Water Recovery, you can see our little swimmer pretending to have kangaroo ears and boinging up from the water. This fun role-play teaches balance and the essential skill of regaining their footing after a dip.

2. Taking a “Big Breath” for the Big Dive

Preparation is everything! Before a child goes underwater, they need to learn how to take a proper breath. In Baby Swim Big Breath For Underwater Swim, we capture that crucial moment where a young swimmer takes a “big breath” before jumping through a hoop. Mastering this breath control is the first step toward long, comfortable underwater swims.

3. The Ultimate Hoop Hero

Once they have their breath control down, the sky (or the pool floor!) is the limit. Swimming through a hoop is a fantastic way to encourage distance and direction underwater. Watch our little “monkey” fly through the hoop in Baby Swim Through The Hoop. It’s amazing to see her give a “big push” and navigate right through the centre, showing off incredible coordination and confidence.

Whether they are boinging like kangaroos or diving like hoop heroes, our swimmers are constantly building the foundation for a lifetime of water safety and enjoyment. By keeping the atmosphere light and the challenges fun, we ensure that every child at Baby Swim looks forward to their next big splash!
